Nazrin has performed in various locations such as: Dewan Filharmonik Petronas, Malaysia; Elgar Room, Royal Albert Hall, London; Wiener Saal, Mozarteum, Austria; and Suntory Hall, Japan. Nazrin attended the Young Artist Programme, Musik Theatre Bavaria where he explored the roles of Osmin from Mozart\u2019s <em>Die Entf\u00fchrung aus dem serial<\/em>, and Dr. Mirakel from Offenbach\u2019s <em>Hoffmans Erz\u00e4hlungen. <\/em>At The Juilliard School, Nazrin has performed in the production of Nicolai\u2019s <em>Die Lustigen Weiber von Windsor<\/em>, Menotti\u2019s <em>Amelia al <\/em>Ballo, Missy Mazzoli\u2019s <em>Proving <\/em>Up, Puccini\u2019s double bill of <em>Suor Angelica<\/em> and <em>Gianni Schicchi,<\/em> Nino Rota\u2019s <em>I Due Timidi, <\/em>Mozart\u2019s <em>La clamenza di Tito, <\/em>The AD Carmen Project, Poulenc\u2019s <em>Dialogues des Carm\u00e9lites,<\/em> covered the role of Diarte in Cavalli\u2019s <em>Erismena, <\/em>and played Figaro in Mozart\u2019s <em>Le nozze di Figaro. <\/em>Nazrin has also had the opportunity to perform at Zankel Hall, Carnegie Hall alongside Meredith Monk during the performance of <em>Juilliard @ Zankel: A Celebration of Meredith Monk.<\/em> Back home in Malaysia, Nazrin sang the Bass Solo in Beethoven\u2019s <em>9<sup>th<\/sup> Symphony <\/em>with the Rondo Festival under the baton of Tengku Irfan.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>bass-baritone is a graduate of The Juilliard School, and a first year Master\u2019s student at the Maryland Opera Studio, studying under the tutelage of Kevin Short.
