Pallavi, the music band was formed by a bunch of music loving individuals, who did not know how to spend their free time!!! What started as a get-together between four or five instrumentalists, in 1995, has now blossomed into a full-fledged Indian Light Music band.

Pallavi, though unnamed at that stage, performed for the first time during the Bay Area Tamil Manram's Annual Light Music program in April 1996. The first official Pallavi concert though was on 09/22/1996.

From then till now, Pallavi has performed in many programs, each one attracting over 350 people from all over the Bay Area and Los Angeles...

This site will trace the path of Pallavi from the time it started and will probably try to chart out a course for the future...
